Nicolas is Director of Network Architecture at COLT, a leading European provider of end-to-end business communications and managed services. He joined COLT in 2000 and was previously in charge of Product and Infrastructure Security Engineering. In this role Nicolas focuses on mid to long term planning, strategic architecture design, technology watching, and driving research and innovation.

Nicolas holds an Engineer degree in Networking and Distributed Computing and is a recognised authority on Service Provider and IT security. He has presented at numerous technical and security conferences, teaches networking and security courses at various universities and engineering schools, participates in various research groups and regularly writes articles.
