Omnitron Systems
Omnitron Systems will be demonstrating new elements of the iConverter multi-service platform at Carrier Ethernet World Congress. This modular, multi-service platform consists of fiber optic Network Interface Devices (NIDs), CWDM multiplexers, T1/E1 multiplexers and T1/E1 Pseudo-wire equipment. iConverter NIDs are MEF 9 and 14 certified, and support 802.3ah link OAM, 802.1ag Service Fault OAM and Y.1731 Service Performance OAM enabling cost-effective and rapid services deployments.
iConverter T1/E1 multiplexers aggregate up to 16 T1/E1 circuits from copper ports and one 10/100/100 Ethernet over fiber for mobile backhaul applications. The CWDM multiplexers feature high port density for efficient and cost effective expansion of optical fiber capacity and enables phased migration from SONET/SDH to carrier Ethernet.
Omnitron will announce the addition of pseudo-wire functionality to the iConverter multi-service platform with the introduction of the 4xT1/E1 MUX module. This new MUX module supports Circuit Emulation Services (CeS) over Ethernet, delivering T1/E1 services over Ethernet Virtual Circuits (EVC). Three common circuit emulation implementations are supported, including MEF 8, SAToP, and CESoPSN, enabling Service Providers to cost-effectively deploy cellular backhaul and TDM leased line services over their existing packet switched network (PSN) infrastructure.
Omnitron's iConverter multi-service platform provides a modular and scalable flexible vehicle for the delivery of 10/100/Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet, T1/E1, T3/E3, STM1, STM4 as well as older Serial 232/422/485 and X21 applications over dual or single fiber. Omnitron's products are available worldwide.

ADVA Optical Networking
With the FSP 150CC-GE206, ADVA Optical Networking completes its market leading FSP 150 Ethernet access family with the industry’s most advanced multi-port service demarcation unit, enabling efficient next-generation backhaul of 2G, 3G and 4G mobile traffic over all-IP fiber infrastructure. The best-of-breed GE206 intelligent Ethernet demarcation unit is specifically designed to accommodate the rapid expansion in wireless backhaul traffic resulting from the widespread deployment of new mobile broadband services, driven by products such as Apple’s iPhone. Through enhanced clock recovery mechanisms such as Precise Timing Protocol and Synchronous Ethernet, simultaneous delivery of legacy TDM and Ethernet traffic over packet-based transport networks is enabled. The GE 206 has an environmentally hardend design to allow cost optimized and flexible deployments at both indoor and outdoor locations. In addition to being the ideal solution for wireless backhaul, its comprehensive UNI implementation together with its advanced Ethernet OAM capabilities and resiliency options make the GE 206 the ideal solution for intelligent service demarcation in business applications such as Layer 2 and Layer 3 VPNs. The device’s advanced low-touch provisioning features simplify service provisioning and control to shorten rollout time thus minimizing operating expenses.
Ceragon
At CEWC 2009 Ceragon will present its leading high-capacity wireless Ethernet backhaul solutions - the FibeAir® IP-10. Combining IP and TDM networking, FibeAir IP-10 solutions enable risk-free mobile backhaul migration to IP with the highest possible capacities at the lowest overall cost.
